2 more days!!

Im really getting all hyped up with Christmas sooo near.. Actually, it's already Christmas for me though it isnt the 25th yet... Ive already finished my shopping for all my inaanak's yesterday. Even Ian would get to receive all my gifts for him later (I wouldnt be here Christmas day kasi). I have been giving him his presents since the 17th and later would be his fifth, final gift.. yey! :)

My fourth gift though was a little underappreciated.. I gave him a portable FM Radio (haha). Cheap as it may sound, but he's been whining for this for as long as I can remember.. Kasi daw he needs something to listen to when the IPod is with me.. With all the MP3 players around, it's impossible to find a decent FM Radio now.. Pagtatawanan ka pa sa mga tatanungan mong stores.. OR it's free in happy meals or strepsils and other things.. E si boyfriend maarte, di pde ang quality ng mga finifree..

Luckily, after all the thinking on where I could buy a decent FM Radio, I found one at Ebay...So I bought it, had it shipped and voila, I was able to hand it to him the next day (very smooth transaction actually).. BUT.. as i mentioned earlier, excited as i was to hand him the present i so tediously planned, it was forgotten a few hours after...

You know why? Parang sinaniban ang BF ko! There we were one minute strolling at Galleria when he saw a mobile phone and decided right there and there taht he wants to buy it! (Kasi me FM na, pwede pa makapag Hunter) Sabi ko: Are you sure? (Hello wala kemng pera! Of course we have the card but.. you know.. utang n nmn) It was so uncharacteristic of him, to be that jumpy on a major purchase.. Usually, i was the one who have to be controlled in these impulsive purchases, while he prefers to sit around thinking for days looking at reviews or researching about the thing he is lusting for..

So we flew to MegaMall (kasi me mas options dun) and searched for the chepeast price for the model he wanted.. When we finally decided to hand out the card to buy the phone.... ENG!!!!.. declined.. so.. we left the store (with him whining in the background: Hawak ko na e....... Hawak ko na...), and called Citibank to ask what the hell happened.. Turns out that when you buy a thing on installment, its whole price is substracted to your credit limit and by paying for it monthly, you slowly gain your limit back.. (another thing learned for the day!) In short, we can not buy the phone.....

Well, the old Ian would've just let the issue go, go home, sleep on it, then maybe ask his mom to buy the phone on another day.. But NO! This is the new and spontaneous Ian (much like me actually) so he refused to call it a day, made a phone call to his mom that she makes tito go to Megamall, bring him a credit card (with a much higher limit of course), and buy him the celphone before the day ends..

To cut the long story short, at the end of the very tiring day, he got the phone he's been dreaming of in a span of one day, and I got arthritis for too much walking, exhausted and very very very envious... (well it has FM and can play Hunter!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! :)
